Community at Grace Communion
Grace Community Church is Independent, Reformed, and Evangelical. A church is a collection of individuals who are willing to subject self to the common goal of Christ. The mandate is both to be changed and to effect change in others, all by the Word of God. How is the spirit of this mandate captured at Grace Community Church in London, Ontario?
Grace Community Church is a gathering of loving, committed people who are growing in their respective abilities to respond to the Word and the Spirit. Our leadership is concerned to model and teach Christian service and discipleship. We look forward to believers gathering with an expectation of edification and spiritual growth. We expect believers to listen to the Word of God and learn. We encourage our members to actively seek and develop opportunities to share the gospel and serve in practical ways.
We believe God has ordained the local church as the primary means of grace in the lives of His people. Our format is simple; we learn together. Each Lord's Day our pastor preaches the exegetical content of a specific passage. We find that there is always more than enough insight and application for a week's worth of consideration. The message serves to stimulate Bible study and conversation for the entire week amongst the members and families attending Grace Community Church. Discussion of the sermon typically begins immediately following the service and continues during Sunday afternoon lunches and fellowship. Parents are encouraged to include their children in discussions throughout the week. Our pastor is always available during the week to answer any questions that arise. Finally, we gather again for our Thursday evening prayer meeting for our formal wrap-up session. We break off into discussion groups and end the evening in prayer. This format fosters spiritual growth and true community.
We worship at Woodfield House. It is a private residence in the heart of London's historic Woodfield district and it affords us the use of an intimate music hall for our worship services. Please see our contact information for service times.
